Tap + on the Clocks tab. Type their name and pick their city, or tap From contacts to choose someone from your phone. Overlap guesses their country from the phone number; you can change it.

Each friend has awake hours, 7am to 11pm unless you change them. Open the friend and set Usually awake to when they wake up and go to sleep, in their local time. The ring around their avatar and the pill next to their time follow those hours.

Open a friend and pick their groups under Groups. The chips at the top of the Clocks tab then filter your list, the globe and the planner. Rename groups in Settings › Groups.

On the Plan a call tab, Overlap looks at everyone in the group you pick and finds the hours when the most of them are awake. Public holidays in their countries are shown right where you plan.

Check the city on their page: Overlap uses that city's time zone, including daylight saving. If they've moved, pick their new city. Turn on Settings › Clock change warnings to hear a day before their clocks change.

Open the friend and turn on Tell me when they wake up. It only goes off while you're awake, so it never wakes you.

Check that notifications are allowed for Overlap in your phone's settings. On some Android phones, battery saving can delay alarms: set Overlap's battery use to Unrestricted.

Yes. In Settings › Appearance, pick System, Light or Dark, an accent colour, and 12-hour, 24-hour or your device clock.

Not yet. The widget is on Android for now: Settings › Add widget to home screen.

Your friends are stored only on your phone, so they don't move automatically. You'll need to add them again on the new phone.

Go to Settings › Remove all friends, or uninstall the app. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
